The existing information on tobacco control India, though highly valuable, is lying scattered at different sources, which needs to be channelized and arranged in a systematic fashion at a particular place.
Secondly, few best practices and innovations in the area of tobacco control go unnoticed as it is not being updated regularly at various websites at the state/national level. In similar lines, the orders and notifications at different administrative levels are not being organized, thus the program managers are not able to access them for the facilitation of the tobacco control program at their state level.
The next issue is about the misleading facts on tobacco control which exists on various web engines. In addition, the budding aspirants (researchers and academicians) in tobacco control do not find a stage where they find opportunities in the area or orient themselves in tobacco control.
